Mr. Hindson, P. Eng., is the founder of Far West Mining and has been the President, Chief Executive Officer and a director of the Corporation since 1995. From 1992 through 1995, he was Vice President of Aber Resources Ltd., where he managed the Aber/Kennecott Diavik Joint Venture exploration program. From 1981 to 1992, he was Vice President, Mining and an officer of Bow Valley Industries Ltd. where he was responsible for the company's Kentucky and Pennsylvania coal operations, its working interest in the Midwest Lake Uranium Joint Venture and its gold exploration projects in the NWT and Nevada.
Mr. Zimmer, P.Eng., has over 30 years of Canadian and international mining experience, including 15 years with Teck Cominco Limited. From 1998 to 2007, he was Vice President and Project Manager of Teck-Pogo Inc. and prior to that he managed several operations and development projects for Teck Cominco. From 1984 to 1991, Mr. Zimmer was Senior Staff Engineer with Bow Valley Industries Ltd. and from 1978 to 1984, he held various positions at Key Lake Mining Corporation, during feasibility, and mine construction, and subsequently he became the Key Lake mine superintendent.
Mr. Brodie, B.Sc., FCA, has been a director of the Corporation since 2003. From 1975 to 2003, Mr. Brodie was a partner in KPMG LLP, and has particular expertise in the areas of auditing, accounting, tax, risk management and corporate governance. He was elected a Fellow for distinguished service to the profession by the Institute of Chartered Accountants of British Columbia. He has extensive experience as a director for several public companies.
Mr. Reid, B.A., LL.B., has been a director of the Corporation since 2004. He acts as counsel to both mining and other companies listed on stock exchanges in Canada and United States. He is currently a senior partner of Davis & Company LLP, an internationally recognized mining and securities law firm. Mr. Reid has extensive corporate and commercial business experience and mineral resource law expertise and has served as a director of several public companies.
Lee Graber is currently an Investment Director for Pacific Road Capital Management, a private equity manager based in Sydney, Australia. Mr. Graber has over 30 years relevant experience in the mining industry, including 23 years with Homestake Mining Company where he served as Vice President of Corporate Development. He has extensive experience as a director of several public companies.
Mr. Seaman was elected to the Board in 2009. He is currently the President of D.R.S. Resource Investments Inc., a private investment company, and has served as a director of several resource and technology companies. Mr. Seaman has been involved in the oil industry for over 50 years and was one of the founders of Seaman Engineering and Drilling Company, later Bow Valley Industries where he served as senior vice president.
