Far West Mining Announces Filing of Financial Statements and Management's Discussion and Analysis

Vancouver, BC. - Far West Mining Ltd. (TSX: FWM) reports that it has filed the Company's 2008 audited financial statements and management's discussion and analysis on the Canadian Securities Administrators' SEDAR filing system www.sedar.com. These documents will also be available on the Company's website. The Company plans to file its 2008 Annual Information Form ("AIF") on or before March 31, 2009 on SEDAR.
The Company also reports that the Annual General Meeting will be held at 3:00 p.m. on April 29th at the Petroleum Club, 319 -- 5th Avenue SW, Calgary, Alberta.
