Far West Mining Ltd. is an international mineral exploration company headquartered in Vancouver, Canada. The Company is primarily engaged in the evaluation, acquisition, and exploration of mineral properties in Chile, Australia, and Argentina.

The Company's most advanced project is the 100% owned Santo Domingo Copper Project in Chile. A NI 43-101 resource estimate has been established for this project and a scoping study is currently underway and is expected to be complete in the first quarter of 2008. Far West Mining in partnership with BHP Billiton has begun drilling multiple BHT style (Ag-Pb-Zn) targets at the Georgetown, Australia Project and continues early-stage exploration at the Farallón Negro, Argentina Project.
